We’re still butt deep in the process of organizing our garage & culling our keepsakes. @debengram found this amongst my things. He’d run into MCA sometime in the mid-90s & asked for his autograph for me, so MCA signed the back of a sticker. Matt had also gotten me Mike D’s signature on a copy of Paul’s Boutique a few years earlier. If any of you see Ad-Rock around will you get his for me? I’m an extremely lazy completist.

Millie is an old lady who sometimes forgets why she got up or where she’s going or who she’s barking at. Today she forgot how to use a chair for a few minutes & it was a little funny. I don’t always remember myself!
My guy got me a sew-your-own-“Birkin” kit for Christmas. Desperately trying to channel my Nana, a master leather crafter, my Grammy, who could sew anything, and my Mum, who could knit and crochet and make lots of things. So far, the hardest part is threading the needle. Way to be heavy handed with your metaphors, Universe!
Posting this without tagging anyone because I think those get pushed out to fewer people? What do I know. Social media is an experiment & we are the rats. ANYWAY! This lady, Dr. Annie is trying to beat the orthopedic boots off old Lindsey Graham in South Carolina. She’s visiting LA to meet people & raise some funds. I hope you will consider attending & if you can’t, I hope you will consider sending her some dollars. I know it’s a deeply painful & scary time. I’m doing what I can to find the pockets of hopefulness & share them with you. We’re not supposed to reveal the location of the event until you RSVP, but here’s a hint for my closest friends. I’m blocking off the afternoon to scrub my toilet until it sparkles, then I’m not going to let anyone in my family use it until after this shindig is over!
