#SpotlightOnHer | Today we shine the spotlight on a renowned expert in women’s leadership development, gender diversity, and executive visibility, Dr. Glory Edozien (PhD). ✨ With over 20 years of transformative experience spanning Africa and Europe, Dr. Edozien has established herself as a global force in empowering women to secure high-impact leadership roles. As the founder of @inspiredbyglory Academy , Dr. Edozien has trained over 500 female executives, helping them achieve board appointments, executive promotions, and increased visibility as thought leaders in their industries. She holds a PhD in real estate and planning from the University of Reading, UK, as well as a master’s degree in natural resources from the University of Greenwich, London. She is also a certified expert in climate change and renewable energy finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Dr. Edozien’s journey has not been without challenges. Her experiences with self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and the struggle to fully embrace her voice have shaped her approach to leadership and visibility. #InHerWords “My journey has been shaped by seasons of self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and struggling to fully own my voice. That lived experience, in addition to coaching many female executives, gives me a deep understanding of the internal barriers many career women face when it comes to visibility. It’s why I’ve built platforms that don’t just celebrate women—but do so in a way that’s mindful of those challenges, helping them step forward with confidence.” Dr. Edozien has worked with international organizations such as the UNDP and the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Environment. Throughout her career, her contributions to women’s leadership and gender diversity have won her numerous awards. In our conversation with her, she shared profound insights into the power of leadership and creating opportunities for others! The full Conversation is available on our website. After years of personal struggles with self identity, self esteem, imposter syndrome and doubt, I finally realised the reason I went through all of that was to help other women discover themselves so they can attract the opportunities they desire. I choose to do this everyday through my LinkedIn Visibility programme which is why all my participants always say “this course is much more than LinkedIn” The LVCS programme isn’t just any programme; it goes beyond LinkedIn. It is a 360° mind-shift programme that every career person & thought leader should experience- Ukeme Ekong- Control, Instrumentation and automation engineer I will not be surprised if program is priced higher, as value derived is immense.- Dooyum Okwong- Marketing and communications leader I am of the view that Glory should rename her course as she unlocks something more fundamental than LinkedIn visibility. She took me on a journey of self discovery and repositioning- Temitope Yusuff Director, Business and Finance Leader You should add career clarity to the course, it makes you understand where you are coming from and where you are going through before you even start to get the visibility. It is value for money for me.- Omowumni Akinwande- Finance Leader. These are real women with real results. If you are ready to build visibility and thought leadership in 2024. The is the programme for you. Type VISIBILITY in the comments to get all the details.

Working hard alone is one of the slowest ways to grow your career. The women who accelerate faster often have something else working in their favour: People with influence advocating for them in rooms they haven’t entered yet. That’s the part many professionals are never taught. This month inside the 9to5Chick community, we’re focusing on mentorship and sponsorship, starting with a powerful masterclass led by our founder, Dr Glory Edozien @inspiredbyglory “How to Attract and Maximise Mentor & Sponsor Relationships” Talent and hard work matter, but visibility, access, and strategic relationships can change the trajectory of your career entirely. While some women are still trying to figure everything out alone, our members are learning how to build relationships that open doors to guidance, opportunities, advocacy, and growth. And that’s not all. One of the exclusive perks of the Advance Circle is direct 1:1 mentorship with senior and accomplished female executives. Our private mentor-matching process is already underway. If you’re ready to go further in your career faster, this is your sign to get in the Starter or Advance Circle. Comment COMMUNITY or send us a DM to join today.

A common mistake many women make is going through their entire career without being intentional about preserving relationships and connections outside a specific role. This can be a dangerous road because the most difficult time to build a network is when you need one. At the LinkedIn Visibility and Content Strategy Programme, I work with you to start intentionally building the network of people who should know about you. Registration is now open. If you would like to learn more type visibility in the comments What’s your biggest networking mistake and/or challenge?

Many women wait until perfection to share their expertise. But there is power in sharing the process, the insights and the lessons between each milestone. On the LinkedIn Visibility Programme we take the guess work out of building your thought leadership brand. It’s much more than how to post on LinkedIn we work on: * personal brand clarity * thought leadership positioning * communicating expertise with confidence * strategic networking * visibility strategy * content development * LinkedIn positioning * speaking and authority-building Type visibility in the chat or send me a dm to find out more.

We proudly celebrate Taiwo Oyedele on his appointment as Minister of Finance & Coordinating Minister of the Economy. As a keynote speaker and mentor at the Ascent Board Visibility Evening 1.0, you showed up not just as a leader, but as a strong advocate for the advancement of female executives. You engaged meaningfully with women positioning for board and C-level roles, shared practical insight, and reinforced the importance of inclusive leadership at the highest levels. Your willingness to support, guide, and champion women in leadership conversations created real value in the room and left a lasting impact on our community. This appointment is a reflection of years of excellence, credibility, and service, and of a leadership style that recognises the importance of bringing more women into positions of influence. We are proud to be connected to your journey and honoured to celebrate this milestone with you. We wish you wisdom, strength, and impact as you take on this important national responsibility.
