My birthday is today and anyone who asks how I feel, I respond with one word “Contemplative”. Thoughts on mortality, dreams, friends, foes, escapism, pleasures, pain, etc.
Any time of day I have these thoughts in various categories, but around birthdays I juggle them like this is my first time at a carnival trying to impress visitors.
What I can say to you is “Don’t let it pass you by”. Life really goes fast and there is no age on expiration, so GO AFTER YOUR DREAMS. Some people will have a problem if you put yourself first, but it is necessary because they aren’t fighting for your happiness, YOU ARE.
I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of apologizing for it. Watch what happens next.

One year ago today, I was honored to be in the number of people invited to a magical wedding of two friends who I love with all of my heart. The whole weekend was something out of a movie. Three days of great food, great music, and amazing company of people old and new. Only Katherine and Kaleb can do something so amazing. And only they can have me dancing like I was at that reception!
