Dal 6 all’11 maggio, abbiamo ospitato il primo Immersive Lab di @insituplatform la rete europea di cui facciamo parte con immenso orgoglio, che sostiene artist emergenti che lavorano nello spazio pubblico e in contesti non convenzionali, creando occasioni di scambio, sviluppo artistico e collaborazione internazionale. Oggi lunedì 11 maggio il Lab si apre alla città: pratiche artistiche, ricerca, performance, conversazioni e nuove connessioni. 📆 Dalle 16:30 alle 18:00 ti aspettiamo a BASE per le public pitching session: un momento per incontrare artist, ascoltare idee, scoprire pratiche e progetti in movimento. Today, the Lab opens up to the city: artistic practices, research, performances, conversations and new connections.�From 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, join us at BASE for the public pitching sessions — a moment to meet the artists, listen to ideas and discover practices and projects in motion. [NARRATIVES]  Hyacinthe Hennae joined IN SITU PLATFORM in 2025 with his artistic project "Parades". It was selected along with 9 other creations to participate in a coproduction support programme, offering residencies and programming opportunities for artists to thrive on a European scale. As part of this programme, Hyacinthe was invited by our partner @atelier231_ for a research residency which took place in Sotteville-lès-Rouen from 26 February to 6 March 2026. [IMMERSIVE LABS]  The first immersive lab is held in Italy in collaboration with our partners @base_milano and @zonakmilano from 6 to 11 May. A six-day programme designed to foster artistic development and international exchanges that includes networking opportunities, workshops with international experts, artistic performances & public pitching sessions. [NARRATIVES]  @fuzzy.earth ran a research residency at @cifasbxl in collaboration with Cultureghem in Brussels as part of the PLATFORM coproduction support programme Fuzzy Earth is a duo formed by Tekla Gedeon and Sebastian Gschanes from Austria and Hungary, who joined PLATFORM in 2025. [NARRATIVES] @kra.international saves the planet while touring the network with their project « Mission Arnold Schwarzenegger » KRA was selected along with 9 other creations to participate in a coproduction support programme, offering residencies and programming opportunities for artists to thrive on a European scale. Their project evolves through the encounters with IN SITU programmers and European contexts. KRA has been on two working residencies in Norway and France, continuing to develop their project Mission Arnold Schwarzenegger. During their time abroad, the focus wasn’t just on creation, but also on rethinking mobility. As part of IN SITU PLATFORM programme, the coproduction support offers residencies and programming opportunities for ten selected artists to thrive on a European scale. Here are the residencies planned for March : @fuzzy.earth - 18.03 to 03.04 @cifasbxl , Brussels (Belgium) During their two week residency, Fuzzy Earth will approach digestion as a multispecies, ecological process, with their collective cooking and participatory project "Feeding (on) Earth's Crust". > Performative meal: 1 April, lunch time > Location: Abattoir market, Anderlecht @roman.skadra - 10.03 to 20.03 @atelier231_ , Sotteville-lès-Rouen (France) During his residency, Roman Skadra ran participatory workshops to develop his upcoming show, IM BAU. IM BAU is a blend of installation, performance and participatory action, designed for public spaces. In the spirit of a construction site, the project functions as a process-oriented exhibition of the (re)assembly of a sculpture made of wooden beams and iron kettlebells. After 5 inspiring immersive labs in 2025, we are preparing the next series of labs for our emerging artists, which will be held at key festivals and events dedicated to public art in Italy, Hungary, France, the Netherlands and Belgium. The immersive labs are designed to support artistic development and foster international exchanges through a curated six-day programme including networking opportunities, workshops with international experts, artistic performances & public pitching sessions.
