🦉Gdyby ptaszyna nie szarżowała, to by gniazdko swoje wciąż miała.🦉 |współpraca| (🇬🇧in comments) 💬Znacie takie powiedzenie? Nie? To już znacie! A w praktyce dowiecie się, o co chodzi z tymi słowami w najnowszym tytule Ptasie Rewiry od @iuvigames ! ⚡️Zacznę prosto z mostu: to jest po prostu świetna gra! Ile tu jest negatywnej interakcji - Love it!! 💖Ja ten tytuł kocham i polecam. Każdemu. Lubicie negatywną interakcję? 🦅 #tabletopgaming #gryplanszowe #ptaki #review #perch

Behind the Lens - Kickstarter Preview Publisher: Inside Up Games Designer: Charlie Bink, Danielle Reynolds Graphic Design: Riley Lem, Katie Hoang, David Shaw Theme: Behind the Lens is a nature photography game where players travel across different environments capturing wildlife and landscape photos. Players build a portfolio of photographs while improving their camera settings and completing assignments and awards throughout the game. Mechanisms: • Simultaneous play turns across 3 months and 12 total rounds. • Card drafting for action selection and camera manipulation abilities such as cycling rows, scouting new photos, upgrading acclaim tiles, and curating objectives. • Spatial puzzle gameplay centered around adjusting rows and columns on a personal camera board. • “Push” system where players manage battery charge to shift settings tiles and change camera alignment simulating a camera setting wheel. • Pattern matching to capture photos by creating the exact sequence of subjects and settings shown on photo cards. • Score building through a journal system that improves the value of specific camera settings over time. • Portfolio building through captured photo cards that contribute toward personal and end-game objectives. If the theme and/or mechanisms sound interesting to you, go check out Behind the Lens on Kickstarter before the campaign ends today. @insideupgames

How many strategic games do you know that play in about as long as a beaver can hold its breath underwater? We'd bet not many! 😜 Earth Express combines the most-loved mechanisms from Earth and Abundance in a 15 min format that can be played with 1-8 players! The campaign ends this Friday, so don't miss out!

Earth Express from @insideupgames has just a little bit of time left on crowdfunding. This is such a fun version of Earth that plays in 5 quick rounds. It has all of the things you love about Earth, gorgeous cards, tableau building, trees, sprouts, seeds, and goals!! It plays 1-5 players and is quick to teach and get to the table. It will never replace Earth but is a great additional game to my collection. Go check it out to lock in the exclusives!! #game #boardgames #hobby #solo #collection

10 years ago Conor filed the paperwork for a business he named "Inside Up Games" in preparation to launch his first game design, Summit. Now 10 years and 16 games (+ counting!) later, our team has grown and so has our community. 💗 THANK YOU for playing our games all these years, and cheers to many more. 🍁 We'd love to hear what game is your favorite, or a memory you have with Inside Up Games! Any lucky recipients of one of Conor's bear hugs out there?

We tried the Animal Kingdom expansion to Earth by @insideupgames on Saturday! Classic me: Once again I didn’t remember to take any photos 📷 except directly into a story 😅🙈 But here’s a little reel of my red panda - which normally should eat bamboo leaves, but was stuck on my banana tree 🍌🌴 for the whole game. The expansion didn’t change the game too much. We found the global ability more useful than our personal animals - with 2p it got triggered fairly often plus we both picked low complexity animals, that provided a bonus but nothing groundbreaking. But the animeeples are stinking cute! 😍 Looking forward to trying more of them! #boardgames #earth #animals #firstimpressions

Sometimes you run into games that stick in your brain, for one reason or another. I'd been wanting to play Perch by @insideupgames for ages, but I had heard it was "mean," and my friend group isn't much for mean types of games (I am...but hey, I'm nice about being mean...). Inside Up Games offered me the chance to play Perch recently at Fun K-Town in Knoxville, before the late pledges for the Birds of Play Expansion close on Kickstarter (soon!! Go make your late pledge!). Here's my experience (check out their #BGG page for gameplay!). 1. Fantastic game. It's not "mean." It's competitive and strategic in a caught-ya kind of way. If you keep in mind the premise of the game--you're at war with the other birds to form the best and most dominant Perch--then you'll be golden in the competition department. 2. Why it stands out. See #1. But also, for me, I had a unique experience with this one. I was sitting at a table by myself with a stack of games and a "Players Wanted" sign, and a random stranger walked up, and he said, "I LOVE this game, want to play?" It was my first time nailing the whole Players Wanted thing, and he turned out to be a fascinating guy who put up a solid challenge. 3. We played 2p, and he said it was just as good at a higher player count, if not a little more brutal with more people. 4. This was part of my foray back into gaming after weeks of rest. And it felt GOOD. I missed playing, and I was giddy about getting back to what I love with a memorable experience. 5. Itty, bitty, baby birds. 6. I lost, and I didn't care. Check out the awesome stuff being produced by @insideupgames --Perch and the upcoming Birds of Play are just the tip of the iceberg! 🐦 2-5 Players (5 might be intense) 🐦 Ages 14+ (I think 12+) 🐦 30-60 minutes (accurate) 🐦 Medium-light Also...this song 🤣 Never thought I'd find a proper use for it. I was wrong. #boardgames #tabletopgames #boardgamesofinstagram

Behind the Lens 📸⚡⏳🔍 (Prototype Copy) This might just be my new fav from the wonderful @insideupgames 😍🤗 it's puzzley, the tokens are gorgeous, the theme is great and it's such satisfying fun all round! 💕 This game takes you behind the camera 📸 , adjusting your settings on your sliding grid, to line up photo perfection!! You'll have a deck of camera shots you're aiming to capture which require specific settings. Each turn you'll gain a token which you'll use to push the settings around the grid to try and line up as many combos as possible ready for scoring! You'll also draft a special ability each turn which can be used at any time, these can be very helpful to get out of sticky spots or get great combos 😍 You can also gain end game scoring cards throughout the game, giving you even more to tactically aim for ✨ (or if you need a hail Mary at the end 😅) I loved the concept of this, the pushing tiles into alignment is actually so much trickier than it looks and I regretted using the one time use blanks so early in the game as I definitely needed some assistance later on 😂 I also realised I could have used them in a smarter way to achieve more combos in a turn which would have gained me bonus VP! 😅 Lessons have definitely been learnt!! Really enjoyed this one and would recommend for any of you strategic puzzley fans out there 💕✨ Thank you so much to @insideupgames and @ukbg_review_circle for the chance to preview this game, it's such a fun puzzle!! #boardgames #behindthelens #tabletopgames #photography #nature
