Inside Broadway’s Summer Stock Junior program is a two-week, musical theatre intensive where students work with industry professionals to perform in their own musical, helping them grow both as an artist and an individual. Students will also have access to a special Q&A with a Broadway performer and a matinee ticket to a Broadway show.
This year I was honored to author a script for @inside_broadway titled “Hats Off To Broadway” It was performed in 33 schools across 4 boroughs of NYC! The students learned what it takes to put on a musical by portraying a broadway cast and creative team telling a story of teamwork, kindness, and perseverance over inner fear. I saw the show performed this week and it was a magical moment! Thank you to the IB team for trusting me. Check one off of the bucket list!
Announcing our spring Creating the Magic show partner…@andjulietbway ! 🌟🎤 This hit jukebox musical imagines an alternative ending to Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet” that asks the question: What if Juliet got a second chance at life after Romeo? It’s a high-energy show about self-discovery, complete with pop music that the students are sure to love.

Big news! 📣 After 30 magical years of performances in school auditoriums across NYC, Inside Broadway’s professional touring acting company will now be named “The Inside Broadway Acting Company.”
Each year, The Inside Broadway Acting Company, comprised of Actors’ Equity and Local 802 AFM members, performs a 45-minute abridged version of a popular Broadway or Off-Broadway show, designed to fit into a class period and connect to the curriculum. Over the course of 12 weeks, the company brings the show to public schools across the five boroughs, often providing students with their very-first professional live theatre experience.

As part of Inside Broadway’s Summer Stock Junior program, students have the unique opportunity to see a Broadway show, giving them direct access to a professional theatre production before they put on their own performance. Meet Inside Broadway Teaching Artist Daisy Chase! ✨
Daisy Chase (they/them/theirs) is an NYC-based actor, director, singer, model, teaching artist, and editor. They‘ve been involved in the arts since a young child and have been performing professionally since the age of 16. They’ve amassed over 30 stage and screen credits, including the East Coast regional premiere of The Tall Girls (Lurlene Lonestead), A Chorus Line (Cassie), and Legally Blonde (Elle Woods), to name a few. They are also an openly autistic performer and teacher, and are very passionate about accessibility and making art both teachable and enjoyable to students and performers of all neurotypes, disabilities, and identities.
