Haven't had a lot of time lately to play on personal projects and experimentations, but this one was really fun. Exploring how to start from simple motion ideas, trying to turn them into a system and define a final design which, in a reverse-engineered approach, becomes the resting point of the original motion idea. From @kunelgaur ’s exhibition, Signs of Life, alongside a few archive works. Gaur started his career in graphic design, moved into mainline advertising, only to leave it five years later to start his own design studio that evolved into a full service creative agency, and later co-founding a tech startup that brings together artists and brands through activations using augmented reality. All while evolving his artistic practice as a designer, creating a body of work that is inspired by architecture, typography, and creative writing. Across the artworks, Gaur examines how contemporary life is shaped by the structures, codes, and systems that surround us.

Embroidered works by textile craftsperson and artist @masaki.komoto and @masaki.komoto in collaboration with graphic designer @yuri_sato . In collaboration, the duo search for fresh approaches to needlecraft by introducing aesthetics usually associated with graphic design, whilst simultaneously respecting centuries-old techniques used in sewing and embroidery.
