CABINET 2X2 for one special place 🪩
This project was created during the renovation of @bara_karpiskova cabin, with a clear goal – to design a kitchen that works well in a smaller space. It needed to be practical, compact, and ready for everyday use.
At the centre is the CABINET 2X2, combining storage and a work surface in one piece. The layout is simple and intuitive, based on how the space is actually used day to day.
The unit is freestanding and stable on its own, so there’s no need to fix it to walls or adjust it to the space. You can place it easily, and move or adapt it anytime without complicated changes.
Stainless steel handles moisture, heat, and regular use without requiring special care. Over time, it develops a natural patina that reflects how it’s used.
Thanks to this, CABINET 2X2 works just as well indoors as it does outdoors. It can handle different conditions, so you’re not limited to placing it in one specific type of space.

As visitors, we also made our way to Milan Design Week and brought back so much inspiration that if it were weighed at the airport, we’d probably still be at check-in.
This city is always a good idea, but during this week it gives even more – beyond the kilometers and the carbs.
