I can’t believe it’s already the last week of Museum of the Moon @chester_cathedral 🌙 this has been one of my favourite exhibitions to see in the Cathedral. I’m definitely going to miss it when it’s gone
Oh what a year it has been. Proved impossible to do only a picture for each month and still no much not included. It’s been another crazy year full of ups and downs but so many incredible memories made along the way.
January - started the year with a trip to Rome (including an amazing cooking class)
February - picture from Poppy Fields at Chester Cathedral
March - on the scaffolding at the Cathedral checking out the incredible work being done by the Works Department
April - Quinn growing up so fast and climbing up a part of the playground he had never done before
May - Paddington visited the Cathedral (Quinn was very excited to see him there). Also stapled so many doves leading up to Peace Doves at the Cathedral
June - Pit Bull with the Joes (bald cap bringing me back to my days in makeup school). And my sister Mindy visiting Chester for the first time
July - Quinn ‘graduated’ from nursery and we took a trip to Amsterdam (Quinn is still asking to go back)
August - outside bbq, my mom visiting, and Quinn turned 4!!
September - the most incredible trip to Disneyland Paris (and Quinn started school)
October - trip to London and the best holiday of the year
November - saw Five at my local pub and finally got to meet baby Penelope 🥰
December- Christmas with the family. First time in about 14 years that my mom, my sister, and I were together for the holidays
Goodbye 2025. Hello 2026 - can’t wait to see what adventures await.
This year for Halloween Quinn picked out our outfits. He wanted to wear his excavator/digger costume and decided David could be a construction worker and I could be dirt 😂 Quinn even helped me make my outfit.
Realise I haven’t posted except on stories lately. So here’s a Quinn appreciation post. He’s growing up so fast. He brightens the darkest of days and constantly makes us laugh.

August slipped away like a bottle of wine…
My mom visiting every August is my favourite but always goes to fast. So much fun and so many memories in one month. Wizard of Oz in the park, discovered @hoozooanddinosaurworld , a trip to Vienna, @taylorswift at Wembley then straight to @disneylandparis . Plus some incredible time spent with @jmc_photographyy@mikeyp_r@yourgirlalexj_
All day Quinn kept asking to ride “the big BIG wheel” so of course we did. I love seeing the world from his perspective and love all our adventures together.
