Touched an MPC around 2003, back when studios felt worlds away unless you had money, connects or somebody willing to open the door for you. Before music lived inside laptops. Before everybody had loops and presets in folders. Back when people really learned the craft through time, mistakes and obsession. Watching Pete Rock flip soul records into emotion… watching those old Alchemist Chemistry Files DVDs and seeing producers build worlds out of dust, vinyl and atmosphere inspired me heavy. Everybody had identity back then. That’s really why I made these posts. Not to push random beat packs, but to build with artists properly. Custom production. Real collaboration. Transparent splits. Just a few days after I got back in the UK, without any rehearsals or plans, we hit the stage and delivered a raw, unfiltered performance that shook the room.
