two years ago I was digitizing my dad’s home videos. while watching the footage, I reminisced about my childhood growing up at my aunt’s house with so many of my cousins, aunts and uncles. 4 families living in one house. it was a special time. I also started to notice the range of emotions I felt at the time and how similar they were to the emotions I felt now as an adult. I witnessed some of the small events that shaped me into who I am now. It felt like a visual collaboration between my dad and I. past and present. I combined that footage with some newer footage I shot and made this video.
