Are you a young person passionate about creating change in the world and curious about the connection between inner growth and outer sustainability?
On April 11, we had the joy of welcoming more than 50 young people (and a few adults) into two inspiring Open Youth Call sessions. We explored what meaningful youth leadership can look like in the field of inner development for outer change.
It was especially striking that many of the youth were already engaged in very cool projects! We heard inspiring initiatives in fields such as systems change, human flourishing, loneliness and wellbeing, and the climate crisis. The youth shared how they are creating impact in their own communities, offering perspectives on the many ways we can contribute to a better future.
When asked what they hoped to gain from the youth council, the core themes included an international community of like-minded individuals, a yearning to create meaningful change together, and a co-created space for shared learning and growth.
We are now inviting young people from around the world to apply for our International Youth Council (the official name will be determined by the council members). This council is supported by the IDG Foundation.
This is an opportunity to join a global group of like-minded youth. We will explore and practice the connection between inner and outer sustainability. We are fortunate to have many partners of all ages who will support us if and when asked.
If this resonates with you, we warmly encourage you to submit your application before 1 May. We would love to welcome you to the council.
👉 If you have any questions, please reach out to Gustav Böll, who will be leading the project: [email protected]

This is the Moment You've Been Waiting For: An Introduction to Time Mastery
Overwhelmed. Crazy busy. Always available. Endless meetings. Constantly distracted. No time for innovation. No time to be thoughtful. No time for real work. And the future is arriving too quickly.
Are you a victim of time, or a leader of time?
In this session, Martin Boroson will introduce you to the One Moment Company’s unique approach to helping leaders rethink time and transform the time culture within their teams. We will start with the premise that time is not “an external” to be managed, but rather a choice. Time is not a problem; it’s an opportunity. It is how we manifest inner development and make it tangible. It is the key system that shapes organisational culture and a vital tool for leaders. And together, we will explore what becomes possible when you break free from delusions about time and begin from true presence in the moment.

What if the most important leadership intervention isn't a strategy, a framework, or a skill but the quality of ground you're standing on when you act?
That was the deepest learning from our latest Systemic Leadership Lab session with Nicholas Janni and it landed not as a concept, but as a lived experience.
Nicholas, author of Leader as Healer and Leading in Chaos (co-authored with Amy Elizabeth Fox, CEO of Mobius Executive Leadership), didn't teach presence. He created the conditions for it. Through somatic practice, silent paired presence work, and a moment of extraordinary courage from one participant who chose to explore transgenerational trauma live in the room, something shifted collectively.
A few things that touched us deeply:
The realisation that most of us operate in flow only 5–10% of each day and that we've normalised this as if it were inevitable
That fear doesn't block us. We block fear. And the moment we stop, something opens
That healing and awakening are not self-indulgent detours from the work. They are the work
That the chaos unfolding in the world right now is not a crisis to manage. It's a wake-up call — and inner development is the response
This session was the third in a 12-month arc. With Zander Grashow, we explored how to lead when the path forward isn't clear. With Erica Ariel Fox, we met the different voices within us. With Nicholas, we asked: what becomes possible when those voices are held from a place of true embodied presence?
The answer was felt, not just understood.
This is what IDG and Mobius Executive Leadership are building together — not leadership development as a program, but as a practice of becoming more fully human in service of a world that needs it.

Leading at the Threshold...
We are at a turning point. Something rare is taking shape.
What do we want to leave to the next generations? And are we willing to lead from what we already know, rather than from what is safe to say?
IDG Business Forum 2026 is a 2-day in-person gathering for leaders, changemakers and entrepreneurs who are ready to lead from what this moment actually requires, not just from what is safe to say. Hosted by the IDG Business Coalition and our partners at Djurönäset in the Stockholm archipelago, it is a space to share what is real, deepen relationships that matter, and co-create what comes next.
Through structured sessions, participant-led conversations, and time in nature, you will leave with relationships, ideas, and a quality of nourishment that is rare in professional life. To learn more, link in bio

The Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona is pioneering the integration of the Inner Development Goals (IDG) framework into healthcare sustainability. Through its Sustainability Leadership Programme, co-created with VATI of Sweden and the EU-funded ReHEALMS project, the hospital aligns individual mindsets with global Sustainable Development Goals.
The Sustainability Leadership Programme operates in two phases (2025–2026), moving from leadership training to scaling sustainable behaviours hospital-wide. Through five IDG dimensions the initiative has successfully:
- Trained 59 professionals.
- Established a Sustainability Ambassadors network.
- Designed collaborative "Playbook."
- Engaged in individual and group challenges to reduce waste and GHG emissions.
Beyond behavioural shifts, the ReHEALMS initiative has reimagined hospital spaces through healing architecture and artistic interventions to improve emotional well-being.
Currently, the hospital is prioritising the consolidation of the Ambassadors' roles as essential bridges between organisational strategy and daily practice. While focusing on five specific IDG skills deemed critical for large-scale change, Sustainability Ambassadors are designing actions to catalyse positive social tipping points, fostering a culture of pro-environmental behaviour and ingrained sustainable practices across the entire hospital. Furthermore, there are plans to share these co-created methodologies with other institutions to influence sustainability practices throughout the broader healthcare sector.

We are continuing to move through a period of transition across the IDG ecosystem.
This transition did not begin as a plan. It emerged from a growing shared awareness across many conversations. How we have been organising, relating, and acting is no longer fully meeting the reality we are in today.
Rather than rushing to fix or decide, we are creating spaces to listen, learn, and sense together what wants to emerge next.
Invitation to our next forum · 8 April
We are opening space to reconnect across the ecosystem, across IDG Community (centres, hubs, networks, research collaborations, youth, self-organised groups) and businesses, institutions, academics, and partners.

There is a quiet shift happening.
More and more, we are realising that the challenges we face in the world cannot be solved only from the outside. They ask something deeper from us, how we think, relate, how we lead, how we show up with ourselves and with each other.
The IDG Ambassador Programme is an invitation into that journey.
A space where people from all over the world come together to grow, reflect, and explore what it truly means to live and advocate for inner development.
Across cultures, sectors, and lived experiences, this is a community shaped by diversity and connection.
We now offer programmes in multiple languages, so that more people can access and belong.
New cohorts are starting soon, and there is still space to join. If you feel the call to grow from within and contribute to something larger than yourself, this might be your next step.

-self-governing
-collaborating
-coordinating.
This transition invites the wisdom, participation and agency of the ecosystem itself.
-Your voice and experience can help shape how the ecosystem learns and experiments during this transition.

As IDG has grown into a global ecosystem, a new possibility - and responsibility - is becoming visible:
How do we steward this growing movement in ways that remain coherent, connected, and true to our shared why?
This transition is an invitation to evolve toward more distributed stewardship, strengthening the relationships that allow IDG to thrive as it expands, and to shape that direction collectively. These forums were created as open spaces for this work to listen, reflect, learn, and experiment together as we navigate this transition. Our focus is on strengthening our shared why and the relationships that hold us together. Before designing what comes next, we are building the clarity and trust that make any next phase viable.
Since November, many of you have stepped into the Transition Forums, spaces of listening, honesty, and collective sense-making. The 16th February Transition Forum with an Unconference format, surfaced real tensions around our why and culture. Rather than closing those conversations, we continue them.
Transition Forum | Unconference on IDG Why & Culture (Continued) 🗓 4 March 2026 | 🕑 14:00–16:00 CET | Register link in bio
What We Will Explore
-Revisit and strengthen our shared why
-Explore coherence across the IDG ecosystem
-Identify one simple step to deepen connection and integrity
This stage is not about designing new structures. It is about strengthening the cultural and relational foundations that make any future structure viable. The quality of participation now influences the strength and credibility of what follows, and how supported we each feel within it.
A Shift in Stewardship - As IDG has grown, its future can no longer be sustained through central stewardship alone. Direction emerges through how the ecosystem participates and learns together.
Why This Matters - This shift reflects maturation. As the movement expands, growth invites collective stewardship, shaping how IDG evolves and what integrity looks like in practice, strengthening foundations that allow the next phase to unfold with resilience and coherence.
We look forward to continuing this exploration with you.
