Innerchild Creatives

The best part in life is now. I hope you feel that. And if you don’t, I hope you seize it. I took this video back in June this summer — been flying back & forth to set up things in my new home, Texas. Most of this year was a constant lesson on patience and gratitude for each moment — whether or not if things are in your hands and control. My destination to Dallas felt so clear and so close. But life had other plans for us to take care in Los Angeles before we leave. A month then two turned into nearly a year — excitement turned to impatience. This month, things are finally setting back into motion. And it feels human but silly to look back at the extra self imposed stress and pressure on something that has been on its way to work out anyway. Sometimes, when looking to chase one blessing, you may miss the one in front of you..especially the life happening here and now. Even through the times that aren’t in your control, I hope you can make the best of it — the best part in life is truly now.

It’s been a while 🫶 we collaborated with @celestial_kels (thank you Kels!!✨) to rework our logo months ago, but finally felt ready to introduce. An Evening at Sensorio• This night was a reminder to intentionally make time for what brings joy and to remember how it feels like. We visited a large, light installation called “Sensorio” in Paso Robles, CA, and fell in love with the sunset, low hills, and shine from the field of lights. As the sun fell, the view became more and more magical. A moment away from the city and usual routine. A night of collective appreciation from all the attendees who’ve experienced this installation. This visceral stimulation was heavenly eye candy. A moment to appreciate how someone else sees the world, and how they chose to celebrate it with their creation. Here is a small taste of Sensorio through our lens. I hope you all also celebrate how you see the world. A Moment with @hwoo.lee 🧑🏻‍🍳🤌🏻 Is 2022 your year to get started on something you’ve always wanted to do? Hyunwoo is a self-taught Asian-American chef with nearly 1M fans on Tiktok for his content and recipes. We spent a day getting to know him better - seeing his whole process cooking a delicious meal and love for his craft. If there is one thing we want you to take away from this video - you don’t need to get a certain amount of experience to allow yourself share and get started on what you love. As for @innerchild.creatives , this is one of our proudest projects to test and learn new areas of filming & editing - sound effects, music selection, transition, filming. Capuring the moment and the essence of the subject’s personality and talent. We’re also on our journey learning how to have fun and be better creators. May 2022 be your year to DO YOU. It’s Monday morning ☀️ How are you really doing though? It’s a simple question. But we’ve found that it helps with staying in tune with your inner self. A month ago, we had a guest speaker @thejournallife in our Wednesday Women’s Accountability group. She shared simple yet powerful prompts to ask ourselves when we are learning to use journaling as a way of therapy or self-care. The question “how are you really doing?” stood out to us. Sometimes, we are conditioned to keep going, move forward, and get through each day - we answer with “I’m good.” Or “I’m fine!” But a simple question to sit down with like this to ask yourself can help with opening up a conversation and releasing your thoughts. •Meet Quynh• our @innerchild.creatives graphic design intern who is graduating out of her 2nd term internship this week 🙌🏻✨And has recently graduated high school to start college this Fall 🎓congratulations 🎉 Back in late January, Quynh had most experience in lovely portrait illustrations and sticker designs. In the span of 6 months, she dipped her feet into everything with an incredible can-do attitude and open mind: learning web design, logo design, social media graphics, and more. Additionally, we worked together on her new services, pricing, process, and her first website portfolio with new body of work. Sometimes, we may have a certain vision or goal of wanting our lives to be a certain way. But as we know, life sometimes throws situations or curveballs that we’ve never expected. •Meet Jessica Vuong• @jessdesignedthis ✨ Jessica has been part of InnerChild Creatives’ very first team. Back in late January, she was brought on board for different projects— a college education platform and @hello.sophiea . Somewhere along the road, a passion project called “InnerChild Creatives” of filming creators transformed into desiring a community of creatives to share knowledge, connect, and learn from. And thus, this account has been separately created and officially coined “InnerChild Creatives” to continually work with artists, creators, creatives in various industries. Throughout the internship experience, the goal was to further develop Jessica’s various talents through different projects and zero in where she would like to head. Jessica is quick with understanding new concepts, and knowing exactly what to do next. She knows how to get things done and her proactive ness is inspiring to the team. And she is talented in all areas from assisting in strategy to design. Thank you for everything, Jess! You’ve been a day one 🙌🏻thank you for helping bring InnerChild to life.
