it remains unclear how those living within the direct path of the Octahedron have avoided satellitation, especially those at the shore. perhaps they have adapted and or integrated its effects. it is also possible that the sound of the Octahedron doesn’t bother them at all. yet every glimpse that can safely be taken at the twenty or so workers within s1.309 has revealed the physical form of these workers to have become abstracted by the massive pressure from the sound.
these images have been produced via a biophotographic-scribe rover - the only safe way of actually maintaining contact with the region. during two previous attempts, the Octahedron turned, ripping both rovers to shreds. the rover that returned today, however, returned with these images as well as the aforementioned limb of bio metal attached to its antenna.
throughout each year Inner Beverly will enter a Crimson Period. During this, shards will take on a crimson red hue for an unpredictable period of time, causing internet connections throughout Inner Beverly to be severed alongside other shard related functions. after an extended Crimson Period all shards have returned to their original color.
