My dream Digimon skates have come to life. 🥲 I wanted to do this themed set since the lilac color was supposed to come out in 2019/2020 but then got postponed for too long. I added the patches, custom painted the plates and the Digimoji. Can’t wait to start park skating again.
2025 was truly one for the books. I began the year in the deepest and scariest depression of my life. I realized how much of myself I had lost and made a conscious decision to come back home to me. Not long after, I finally left my toxic job of four years, creating space for healing and change.
Despite the challenges, a lot of good came out of this year. I got to take so many friends to the Renaissance Faire and fully immerse them in a world that has always felt like home to me. Around that time, I found my way into danza, discovering it as healing medicine that helped pull me out of my depression and back into my body. I went on my first hike alone. I also honored my inner teenager by finally seeing My Chemical Romance live and up close, fulfilling a teenage dream I had carried for years.
I continued deepening my relationship with fire, ascending from fire eater to fire breather and drunkenly performing my first fire show in front of friends. I reunited with my Luna in person after years apart and stepped into armored combat for the first time. I returned to cosplaying and created a medieval power ranger which I felt super proud of. I took my first long flight to the Texas Renaissance Faire and ended the year by celebrating with a medieval birthday party. Building that castle from scratch was both challenging and deeply rewarding, and it felt like a full circle moment of creativity, courage, and self reclamation. I’m also grateful for all the people I reconnected with this year and for the friendships I’ve strengthened and deepened. I am coming out of this year an entirely different person and I am grateful for it all.

Getting to forge mine own dagger at the Texas Renaissance Fair with @dragonforgeexp was a most fiery and heartfelt endeavor. With sweat upon my brow and strength in mine own hands, I wrought this blade into being. ’Tis a wondrous feeling to wield a weapon born of mine own labor and spirit.

This one was truly one for the books. It really blew my mind. There was so much to take in: new encounters with awesome humans, wholesome and silly moments that reminded me of the good still out there in the world. From seeing the Spice Boys, spotting the obligatory Deadpool of the ren faire, accidentally meeting one of the prop makers from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and taking in all the amazing cosplays, my inner child’s heart is so full.
