New year new scent! A client asked for this perfume to be engraved with the words "here's to a new chapter 2022", as a birthday gift for her sister-- whose birthday this year marks the start of a new decade in life.
Round bottles are definitely tricky to engrave and I have to work to keep my hand extra steady, but the result is always worth it. Also loving the light green color-- plus it's my first perfume bottle engraving of 2022!

As a calligrapher, I am always practicing and keeping my skills up to par, and when I saw this simple yet divine smelling candle, I knew I had to engrave something on it! Plus, I love repurposing glass containers and candles, so I knew that making this candle look aesthetic on the outside would be the cherry on top.
2021 was a year made up of a lot of quiet moments for me. Moments when the universe was telling me to slow down and be more present in the moment in front of me. It wasn't easy at first, and it's still something that I have to work to consciously continue to work at-- finding beauty in the quiet moments.
In this process I've not only discovered new outlets (like becoming a #plantparent 🪴!), but I've also gotten to rediscover past loves, namely boxing!
