✨MOST MEMORABLE✨
My most memorable projects this year. I can’t believe I’ve been sitting on this since May, and I’ve waited more than half a year to share it, haha!
For this Alice in Wonderland wedding, I wanted to capture the whimsy of the theme while keeping it classy. Honestly, this took a LOT of brain cells. I remember stalling this project for about 3 weeks just thinking before I even started drafting. I wanted to play with the “down the rabbit hole” theme, while constructing the invite that even shadows will work to our favor.
The logo is one of my favorites too. It is a little royal and yet playful with the queen’s roses.

As 2023 comes to a close, I do want 2024 to focus my efforts on bespoke projects that will excite the engineering bit of my brain. hihi 📏🚀
Never in my wildest dreams would I expect that I’d be a WhatsApp contact of a senator! But here it is, and I’m so so so grateful for this project endorsed by florist and event stylist extraordinaire, Badang @badangrueda . Thank you so much! ❤️
I did their invites 8 years ago, when I was starting out, and I’m happy to do this project again, with much more finesse and elegance.
With the last minute prints, we did encounter a quite some hiccups. Honestly, Sen Chiz was so so super chill about it, they even Diy’ed a few things too! ❤️ Sharing more in the next few days. Cheers to the happy couple !

Inspired by the lush interiors of Amazonico, Sofia wanted her guests transported before they ever arrived at the venue. The invitation was where that world began.
Nothing was held back. Tropicals cover every surface, a laser-cut arched facade reveals layer after layer, and gold foil typography anchors the names at the center. A rainforest captured in an envelope.
Thank you @jensanchezlim for the bespoke project!

My client is always the couple, but more often than I expect, it’s Mom who sends the first inquiry.
She’s the one who spotted the invitation on Pinterest at 11pm. She’s the one who is excited about invitations, saying “this is the one”. And many times, she’s the one coordinating with us, especially when the couple feels overwhelmed with the details.
Sometimes I love it, sometimes (honestly speaking) it’s too much pressure. But everytime someone asks about the quality of work, or when I’m faced with production decisions, at the back of my mind, my standard for quality is usually not just the couple (the young ones are plenty forgiving), but will this make the matriarch proud? Will amah approve of this paper thickness? Will there be any issue if mom sees the colors?
Happy mother’s day to every mom who has ever cared deeply about the details. You’re more part of this process than you know. 💜

Our recent letterpress projects straight from my phone cam :) These ones are traditionally pressed on cotton cardstock (450gsm / 600gsm) and 400gsm handmade papers. This type of thick papers cannot run through a digital printer and can only be pressed (letterpress / foil), no full color cmyk printing. ⭐️
Your invitation sets the tone before your wedding day even begins.
Here’s what actually makes it look expensive: 🤍
💌1. Size and balance over everything.
A bigger invite makes a bigger impression — but if you go slim or small, design with intention. Every element should have a reason to be there.
💌2. Paper weight matters.
300gsm is the standard minimum. Some markets go as low as 200gsm, others expect 600gsm and above. Know your audience.
💌3. Letterpress over digital print when you can.
Subtle. Tactile. Quiet luxury that people feel before they even read the words.
💌4. Stick to three fonts max.
One for headings. One for body text. One for the couple’s names — handwritten always wins here.
💌5. White space is not wasted space.
A crowded invite looks cheap. Let your design breathe.
💌6. Match your suite, not just your invite.
Every card — menu, program, place cards — should look like they belong together. Cohesive, not frankensteined.
💌7. Your envelope liner is the first thing guests see.
Don’t ignore it.
💌8. Spell your guests’ names and titles correctly.
A wrong title is an insult wrapped in an envelope.
💌9. Leave the QR codes for the payment terminal.
It’s your invite, your choice — we print what you want. But if you ask us? Bank and wallet QR codes on an invitation are too much.
💌10. Make it yours.
Classic old money or bold and unconventional — there’s no wrong choice. Just make sure it reflects you, not a template
