Revisiting one of our favorite Roman Blind projects of all time. This stunning bathroom blind features our Riverbend design in Tasman on Off-White heavyweight eco-linen 💙🤍
Nice to have the sunshine back in our fair Melbourne town, which reminds us of this shoot we did a couple of months ago with far too many cushions on one couch 😅 (pretty though!)
One of our favorite window furnishing projects of all time, these stunning eco-linen curtains have been custom printed with a feature hem of our Grass design - framing a beautiful courtyard garden in Carlton North.

Featuring: Off-white heavyweight eco-linen with feature hem of Grass in Tasman. Relaxed Fold header & OEKO-Tex certified thermal blockout lining.
Track: Vanda Versatrak 25mm in Riverstone

For Melbourne Design Week, Ink & Spindle opens their spacious, light-filled studio, offering an immersive experience of colour, texture and print.
Within the Convent's heritage-listed walls, the team screenprint Australian landscape-inspired designs on their large thirteen metre print table.
Guests are invited to observe a live printing demonstration, guided through the detailed process of large-format screenprinting. The session also explores the intersection of small-scale manufacturing, sustainable production values and environmentally conscious interior design.
This is a rare opportunity to see traditional textile printing in action and gain insight into thoughtful, local design production.

Day 7 - Full of heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful team at @inkandspindle who very kindly allowed me to use ‘Hot Betty’
Screen printing requires inks to be heat set into the fabric at a balmy 150 Degrees - I had huge orders for scarves and tea towels for @shopkht for Melbourne Design Week and reached out to Ink and Spindle for an S.O.S - Saved the Day!!!
The arts community here in Melbourne truly some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. After my excursion and delivery to KHT it was back to ATW for lunch and some rather frustrating weaving with Rushes.
Loving every minute (except for this arvo where I had to say all the swear words in my head 🥴)
We are super excited to be participating in Melbourne Design Week this year, by hosting three open studio events spanning both weekends.
Excitingly our home @abbotsfordconvent is teaming up with the NGV to be major hub for Melbourne Design Week, so there’s going to be heaps going on around us!! Over 10 dynamic days, the Convent will host 20+ events featuring more than 230 designers, in this annual celebration of creativity and craftsmanship. 14-24 May 2026.

Winter is coming!! ❄️ And we’re certainly feeling it right now here in Melbourne with this sudden cold snap. Our restock of draught snakes couldn’t have come at a better time 😅. Keep that chilly air out with these beauties made locally using remnant fabrics - nothing goes to waste around here!
Free card with purchases over $50 between now and next Sunday, including this new design Caitlin whipped up for the occasion 💚💚💚

Love the versatility of these Foldover bags, locally made in small batches just across the river by @sittingprettydesigns
With adjustable strap positions you can double the size of the bag when you have a few extra things to carry (which let’s admit is almost always 😅)
