META ALGORITHM: Here’s what you need to know. The strategy for successful ad campaigns has officially CHANGED with the Andromeda update.
The days of TOF audience targeting as your main source of leverage are gone. It’s all about variety and volume in your ad content.
We’re developing strategies to help artists create volume of content at scale. This is the only way for artists or businesses of any kind to stay competitive, especially on “limited” ad budgets of $1,000-$1,500 per month, which is the average of what most small businesses/sole-props are spending.
Meanwhile businesses doing 1M+ or more in annual rev are spending 10-30k PER MONTH on ads. You can’t compete unless you serve winning content, and Andromeda wants a lot to choose from. They won’t prioritize your bad ads over good ones. It’s that simple.
I’ve been preaching this for years, but those who find a positive ROAS and then SCALE will start to pull away from the pack quickly with the Andromeda update. Everyone else will continue to stay in pain and say the new algorithm sucks.
It doesn’t suck, it’s actually WAY better for anyone willing to put the effort in on the content side. If you stay stuck in old ways and dont adapt to algorithm changes, you will be LEFT BEHIND, point blank.
