He estado escuchando algunos álbumes clásicos de LTJ Bukem, Dieselboy y más cositas nuevas para inspiración en montar un playlist. A ver cómo va cogiendo forma. Little preview of some of the photos I shot last week for my field trip on the train with my camera. Had a disgruntled 85 yr old man ask me if it was for a school project. 😅 He didn't want to be photographed and I respect that. It was a bright and sunny day and I had trouble finding a decent setting to use, so at one point I decided to use an infrared filter, thinking I could get better microcontrast if turned into black and white. I was right. I still like how the red looks. I'm working on 2 things simultaneously with this set of pictures. I'll share more details later. Here are 2 examples straight out of camera and their black and white version that I edited. Which do you like the most?

Cuando eres madre y padre a la vez 😅😂. Eso es lo que a veces dicen de las madres solteras, no? Feliz día de las madres a todas esas mamás que apoyan a sus hijes, sean de sangre o no. A las malas madres, vamos a desearles que encuentren la ayuda que necesitan por su bien y el de su familia.
Todos salimos de una madre. Siempre me ha parecido absurdo el odio a la mujer porque sin ellas no hay sociedad que se sostenga. Respetemos a nuestras madres, hermanas, primas, amigas y colegas. Seamos empáticos hacia las luchas de igualdad. Ser madre debe ser una decisión y no una obligación. Tengo amigas que no tienen buena relación con sus mamás pero se convirtieron en la mamá que ellas hubieran querido tener y por eso estoy muy orgullose de ellas. Rompamos esos ciclos viciosos para que las próximas generaciones no tengan que cargar con ese trauma.

Throwback to this photo shoot with @cardos_y_ortigas . Living our dystopian fantasy in 2021. Dress for the dystopia you want and not the one you're getting was the inspiration. The lockdown era feels like a fever dream. So much has happened since then. Mostly bad with good highlights here and there. Such is life, right? It'd be nice to have a sense of normalcy though. Pretty tired of all these unprecedented historical events. A solid 20 years of peace and prosperity would benefit everyone and the world.
