it’s now been 1 year since I got my hands on my mirrorless camera and went all in on trying to build a career as a creative. it’s been a wobbly year of highs and lows, a year of risk taking, experimenting, learning, pouring investments of time and money into myself and figuring out exactly what it is I want to do. It’s been a year of meeting many many people also doing the same, being inspired by the sacrifices they’ve made and the dreams they’ve brought to life. It’s been a year of turning transactional client relationships into friendships - I work with people now because I believe in them and I want to do what I can to help them achieve their dreams and that’s a lovely thing I didn’t see coming. it’s funny to think that not so long ago I was intimidated by cameras and now I’m on a path to cinematography. there’s a lot of change in this world right now that makes it impossible to really plan for a career but hopefully I’ll get to at least try by a cinematographer before the world gets too dystopian 🙃 creds to @lexie.francesca for snapping these of me whilst we were waiting for our shoot to start last night 🤍
