INGRID is a songwriter, rapper, painter and DJ born and raised in Houston, TX. Hailing from the infamous Third Ward neighborhood, she began writing and recording music at a very young age. Her grandfather was a jazz musician and grandmother a self-taught pianist and painter, which allowed her to be immersed in and exposed to art and music daily.
In 2005,

@olgirlib aka “IB3”, signed her first recording and co-publishing deal with Mathew Knowles’ Music World Entertainment. She then went on to move to New York City five years later, which eventually yielded a major six-figure publishing deal with Sony ATV and a recording contract with Parkwood Entertainment. INGRID released her first EP “Trill Feels” in 2016 which included her debut single “Flex” featuring Sevyn Streeter. INGRID has written songs and/or participated in songwriting camps for Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, K. Roosevelt, Alicia Keys, and Durand Bernarr, to name a few.
As a songwriter, she was infamously one of the first features on the “GENIUS” platform to go viral for describing the true meaning behind the song “Love Drought”. INGRID has been featured in ELLE, People, XXL, and Cosmopolitan magazines, to name a few. The Rolling Stone, Billboard, The Houston Chronicle, and Essence have all featured INGRID. She was the opening act for Beyoncé’s “Formation World Tour” in Europe alongside her label mates, Chloe and Halle in 2016. She also shared the stage with DJ Khaled in 2018, opening for the OTR II Tour with Beyonce and Jay Z. In 2018 she released a mixtape “WHERE I STAY” which highlighted her love for artists who were born in Texas.
In 2022 INGRID began DJing full-time, eventually landing gigs at Essence Festival in New Orleans (2023) and several residencies at notable bars in Houston. INGRID is currently creating with BIG BODY as a lead vocalist and songwriter and preparing to release a solo EP.
