« The House Remembers »
Throughout the rooms of this family apartment : living room, bedroom, places of rest and transmission, the presence of a woman unfolds gently. These spaces, shaped by time and memory, become the place of a silent dialogue between the generations of women who have passed through them.
The apartment is not just a decor: it constitutes a heritage both physical and symbolic. The objects, furniture and layout of the rooms carry the memory of those who have inhabited these places, revealing traces of life, gestures and relationships accumulated over time. By inscribing a contemporary body, the series shifts the gaze to the female figures who have inhabited these places.
This woman occupies these spaces with restraint and attention. Its presence oscillates between familiarity and distance, making the apartment appear as a place both intimate and steeped in history. The body then becomes a meeting point between what has been transmitted and a singular way of being there, today.
This work envisions the interior space as a living place of transmission and reappropriation, where family memory is extended and transformed. Through this contemporary presence, the apartment appears as a space of projection, in which continuity, memory and self-construction are woven.

An experience that makes a lot of sense to me, because it reflects a way of doing with what we have, composing with the means of the edge, adapting, testing, sometimes improvising but always moving forward with envy and sincerity. It is in these constraints that the freest and most personal ideas are often born. This project reminds me that it is not always necessary to have a lot to build something that looks like us. Just a vision, perseverance, and the desire to tell something true.
« Ce Qui Demeure »
Cette série interroge les origines et la mémoire des Antilles. À travers une figure féminine centrale, vêtue de blanc, le récit visuel évoque l’héritage, la dignité des cultures insulaires, le lien profond à la terre et à la mer.
La robe en dentelle héritée des mains d’une grand-mère, et les bijoux en or portent en eux une mémoire vivante. Les broderies délicates et les objets du quotidien donnent une valeur symbolique : ils évoquent des gestes ancestraux, des rituels silencieux et des savoir-faire de génération en génération.
Le corps, posé et ancré, devient le réceptacle d’une histoire collective qui dépasse l’individu. Chaque posture, chaque regard, chaque objet participe à un dialogue entre passé et présent, tradition et continuité.
Cette série ne cherche pas à figer une identité, mais à en révéler la profondeur : une identité antillaise plurielle, résiliente, élégante, portée par la mémoire et tournée vers l’avenir.

« Reliées » tisse un lien entre le Vietnam et la Martinique à travers deux femmes. Il évoque cette force discrète qui tient ensemble deux mondes. Chacune représente une origine, un héritage, une histoire. Le fil rouge qui les relie symbolise ce lien entre deux cultures. Parfois, l’une est claire et bien connue, l’autre reste plus floue, moins transmise, presque à découvrir. Ces images sont une invitation à voir comment la différence peut nouer un lien sans l’effacer et ce que l’on ressent quand on porte deux origines : l’une familière, l’autre à explorer, et la manière dont elles peuvent se rencontrer sans s’effacer.
