Hello, I’ve had lots of new followers here recently, so I thought I’d re-introduce myself and INGMARSON 🖤
I’m Robert, born and raised by the seaside in Sweden in a fishing family. From my solar-powered studio in Newington Green, London, I knit, embroider, sew, and create all prints myself. Almost everything is made on demand to avoid unnecessary stock and waste.
I live with my boyfriend Tim and our Cornish Rex, Vinnie. When I’m not working, I’m usually baking, growing veggies, wild swimming, or cycling around London delivering orders to stockists plastic-free on my bike 🚲 I also knit and embroider for others via @ecoknitware & @n1embroidery . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

My yarn supplier @lanecardate@hirstyarns are true artisans in lambswool.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They are shareholders in one of only two remaining sourcing and combing mills in Italy, giving them full control from raw wool to finished yarn 🧵🪡 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This means higher quality, carefully selected fibres, and full traceability throughout production. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Many other UK and Italian mills buy yarn later in the process from top makers in China. It can be good quality, but with less control over sourcing and traceability and of course how the animal is taken care of. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
