I’m so happy to have installed my latest art piece at my very first #APOG! Infunity Gate is an interactive installation where users can wirelessly control the rotation and interference patterns of glowing spinning disks. This is done by existing within the spaces in the podium, similar to controlling a theremin. Thank you to the @anypatchofgrass family for enabling this collaboration, and I hope to see you again next year!

For my Lens series, I was inspired by the dynamic interplay between light, shadow, and perspective. As these sculptures slowly shift and rotate, they evoke a sense of calm and contemplation, inviting the viewer to step into a tranquil world of subtle movement and light. This gentle motion also gives rise to complex and dynamic moiré patterns, which emerge from the intersections of simpler forms.
Through this work, I aim to craft an immersive experience that encourages reflection, introspection, and a deeper connection to the present moment—one that balances visual fascination with quiet contemplation.

This is my latest series of illuminated artworks: Infunity Lens is a mesmerizing kinetic sculpture, meditation tool, and mood light. Three variants of this sculpture are installed at The Shape of the Night, an immersive experience taking place in the Georgetown Steam Plant for the next two weekends. Every play through of Laser Lattice will take a unique path through space and time. The sequence of three targets represents one of the possible 68,880 paths. While players will experience this singular path as a combination of 2D space and time, these paths could also represent a 3 dimensional configuration without time, or something else entirely.
I encourage players to try visualizing other representations of the paths their golf ball takes. This can serve as a primer for understanding higher-order dimensions.
