I realize these are getting rather formulaic but I’m having too much fun to change. I nearly adopted some quails this weekend, so this is in honor of them.

We see lots of egrets when we visit family in Hawaii, and since they all look the same we pretend it’s the same one, named Cal, following us around in our travels. It’s nice to see a familiar face everywhere we go.
We have lots of crickets and grasshoppers in our yard, the sound they make at night is so soothing, so this is my thank you note to them for singing their songs.
