Due to a couple of cancellations, 2 spaces became available for this Intensive. Grab them while you can!
It's a donation based event for a smaller group of people to dive deeper with practice and inquiries that Laura and Kirstie developed over the past decades.

Let’s see what happens.
I’ll be running a series of Contact Improvisation labs with @info.exitmap
We’re interested in play as a way of researching movement — taking things apart, rebuilding them, and noticing how quickly things can shift when we follow curiosity instead of trying to get it right.
📆WHEN: Tuesdays (April 14, 21, 28)
🕖TIME: 7:00pm – 9:30pm
📍WHERE: Pembroke House, SE17 1QR EARLY BIRD ends April 3rd Link in bio

There is nothing, then something, then nothing. The bit in the middle is fleeting, surprising and varies depending who is in. Are you?
Some of London's finest CI teachers are engaging in the generous act of bringing CI back to the stage. It's been a while.
But it's not too late. While CI is foremost known, in London anyway, as an immersive experience because by dancing it we feel the connections we build with others, it also however is a valuable media that one can witness as a forever changing form that speaks many languages which express highly varying content and intentions ranging from funny, to sensitive to bold and entertaining - not only in its mastery but choreographic undertones.
@info.exitmap and I are excited to be teaching a CI workshop together.

The Felt Proximity of Weight
A Contact Improvisation workshop
We are excited to welcome guest teacher Laura Doehler @info.exitmap for a workshop that invites an exploration of weight-sharing as both a physical and relational practice.
By giving and receiving weight, we investigate proximity, intimacy and distance, deepening skills in falling, spatial expansion, listening and consent through embodied empathy.
