Un mindset.
Une discipline.

Higher, further, stronger.
In dance, as in everything else, we often tend to idealize ease. We look at others and it’s only human to ask that gnawing question: "Why them and not me? Why do some people grasp everything so quickly while I feel like I'm always a step behind?"
That feeling can quickly become a block and a source of frustration. But with time, you eventually realize that talent is nothing more than a facade if there’s nothing behind it to hold it up. Talent is great, it helps at the start, but it’s relentless discipline and all the work done in the shadows that ultimately make the real difference. Strength isn't what you’re born with; it’s what you build every single day when no one is watching.
Failure isn't a punishment; it’s a reveal. It is precisely in those moments of deep doubt, when everything is stuck and nothing seems to work, that you find out who you truly are. That’s when you decide whether to keep going or give up. You have to accept that everyone has their own story, their own pace, and that comparing yourself to others is useless.
Above all, tell yourself this: if you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will. You are your own engine. Even when it’s hard, you have to keep believing. Because the day everything finally aligns, you’ll look back at the path you’ve traveled and it will all make sense. You’ll tell yourself, "Now I understand why I had to go through that." If you don’t understand why things are blocked today, don’t worry tomorrow, the answer will be obvious.
If the door is closed, go through the window. If the window is closed, break down the wall. 🍀
