No words can capture the energy yesterday at NC FTC States. We are incredibly grateful to receive the Inspire Award, allowing us to attend the FIRST World Championship in Houston. We thoroughly enjoyed competing and collaborating with everyone yesterday, meeting all the robots and all the teams, and learning everything we could from all of them.
The 2023-2024 season was one for the books, beginning with a merger gaining SIX new turtles and two new turtle coaches!! We’ve come together over months and become not just teammates, but friends, and together we have worked tremendously hard to win the Inspire Award for the third time in a row. This is a testament to every Turtles willingness to work together, and to work hard, succeeding while creating last community change!
To everyone who as made our team a success, thank you! In particular we’d like to thank our coaches, parents, sponsors, and mentors for all that they have provided us. We could not thank you enough and your support is instrumental to us.
Last but not least, we’d like to thank NC FIRST for all the opportunities they’ve provided us over the years. Thank you for letting us represent North Carolina.
We are so excited to return to Houston, we’ll see you Houston in 50 days! The countdown has begun!
And with that, we’re getting ready for Worlds Part 2. The 2022-23 season has been a season for the books. At the North Carolina State Championship, we went through our ups and downs and came out of it, an improved team.
As we rushed to queue for our very first match, the unthinkable occurred and our robot fell from the cart. It was hard to see how we could jump back into the game. Our team, however, had other plans.
Coming together to quickly fix the robot, we ended up as 4th seed captain, but more importantly, pushed past the incident so well that we ultimately won the North Carolina Inspire Award for a second year in a row, qualifying to return to the Houston and the World Championship!
To everyone who has made our team a success, thank you! We cannot thank your enough in this journey and we are eager to go even further.
Rebuilding in under a month to a completely new robot, redoing our branding and portfolio, everything that went into NC States was a real testament to every Turtle’s willingness to work together and succeed while creating lasting community change. See you in Houston in 45 days! ✈️

The North Carolina State Championship an NC A&T was AWESOME! We are so proud of everyone in the FTC community, and we truly enjoyed working with and connecting with so many teams. Special thanks to @circuitbreakers_ftc , our playoff alliance partner.
This season was an amazing journey, with all the turtles doing growing so much! Over the course of this season, our team has become a family, and we love getting to see each other at every meeting, competition, and event.

Thanks FLL! We had an awesome time refereeing, emceeing, and volunteering at the Cannon School FLL-C competition this year! It was an amazing competition, and we love coming every year. As always, the teams performed phenomenally, and we can't wait to see what they do next! ♾️ 🐢
