One year ago today, I started creating social content for @homemadebeautiful - a shop that has been at the heart of Ballycastle for 15 years. Celebrating this milestone feels extra special because the woman behind the business is extraordinary.
Tracey has kept this business thriving through every challenge because she leads with heart. Working with someone so open, enthusiastic, and deeply rooted in her community has been a joy from day one.
Her passion for shopping small and supporting local - along with her warmth, humour, honesty, and “let’s give it a go” energy, is what makes this partnership so special.
What you see online is exactly who she is: caring, joyful, and completely dedicated to her customers and her team. One of my best take aways from the year was her telling me that her mum says, “You look how you look!” - a simple reminder I’ve since passed on to so many people who hesitate to step in front of the camera.
Tracey and HMB team, you are a joy to work with and I feel so grateful that our paths have crossed!
Here’s to one year of bringing that spirit to social media - and to everything still ahead 💜

One year in business 🥲
A year ago I took the leap to work for myself. I always loved whatever job I was in (and my teams), so I never felt that something was “missing”, but really nothing has compared to building a business around the work I love the most.
This year has been full of lessons - learning my strengths, facing my weaknesses, dealing with challenges on my own and finding the right clients who feel like the perfect fit. The results speak for themselves: clients going viral, audiences growing beyond expectations, and strategies that have allowed brands to stand out.
Now, I’m fully booked for long-term clients until 2026 (pinch me moment 🙌🏼), but I do still have space for consultancy. If you can take on socials yourself and want the insight, strategy and content direction behind my clients’ growth, that’s where I can help you.
I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to my clients who have helped me to turn this dream into a reality. I never thought my job would involve so many belly laughs and I’m so grateful to each and every one of you ❤️
Here’s to year two - doing what I love, with people I love working with 💫 My waiting list is now open for 2026 🥹
Thank you, Fiona x

6 Months in Business! 🤭
Six months ago, I secured my first client and officially launched my business as a Social Media and Marketing Manager. To celebrate this milestone, I’m sharing 3 key takeaways that can help businesses grow their social media following and connect with a larger audience:
1️⃣ Consistency is Everything
When you’re consistent, you build trust, you stay at the forefront of people’s minds, and you keep your audience coming back for more. It’s the backbone of growth on social media, but this growth doesn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of showing up day after day with purposeful content.
2️⃣ Collaboration
One of the most powerful ways to grow and strengthen your brand. Partnering with influencers and content creators allows you to tap into their engaged audience and bring fresh perspectives to your content. Collaborating with other businesses in your niche can open doors to new opportunities and mutual growth. Too much work on? Collaborate with a competitor by outsourcing work or recommending them to your client/customer. This fosters goodwill and shows that there’s room for everyone to succeed.
3️⃣ Authenticity Always Wins
There is only one you. Authenticity is what sets your brand apart in a crowded social media space. When you show up as your true self, sharing your values, stories, and even imperfections, you build trust and loyalty with your audience. It’s what we all want to see!
Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far - your trust and encouragement means the world. Here’s to the next 6 months 🚀📈

Recording your content so you don’t have to 👋🏼🎥📸
I had a great day on the coast with a new client. Now taking a break from editing content to watch Storm Darragh on the beach with a coffee (most likely from the car…) 🌪️🌊

Today’s news 🥲❤️
Seeing this in print. Seeing what has been in my head for years, finally becoming my reality. Seeing my little family on the same page as my business name. I still can’t believe it.
A big thank you to @fionabrowncommunications for selflessly putting me forward for this feature ❤️. The female business owners who have championed me and offered me support a long the way, including the “you need to do this!” comments when I doubted myself have a special place in my heart. I’ll forever be grateful for all of your help.
I did a thing 🤗
Having Ottilie made me reassess what I wanted for my future. So did Arlo, but with him being my first baby and how I was made to feel in that job, I just lacked so much self-esteem and couldn’t make any big decisions.
This time it’s different. With experience in start up companies, established companies, struggling companies and taking NI’s 5th ever native company to market, my background in business (both good and bad) has given me the confidence to set out on my own. I started my career in marketing before climbing the corporate ladder, all whilst building an organic following of over 50k (as a side hustle) in the background.
For months I have been using this experience to support individuals and companies with their social media and marketing. Helping them to define their brand and tell their stories to their target audience. I am delighted to now put a name to this and will soon be launching @infinetmedia 🩷
This is down to you, the people reading this post, for giving me the platform to be seen by brands and businesses. I just hope that somewhere along the line I will be able to support as many of you as you have supported me 🥲
A massive thank you from the bottom of my heart from me and my little family. x
