This year, it's all about finding and acknowledging the little things, the silly things, the playful things that make me happy. Being an adult does not mean you forget what it's like to be a kid.

Our furthest travel adventure yet celebrating 13 years together and our honeymoon 🐒🌴 Splitting into two parts because it was just too hard to condense!
Heading north from the coast into the jungle, our second resort was Padma Ubud. There was no shortage of spoiling us here either; Indonesian hospitality is next level. Highlights here were drinks in the infinity pool overlooking the jungle, afternoon tea with the cutest assortment of treats, walking around the small zoo on site and feeding animals, another massage and a walk down to the bamboo forest on the property.
We tried to relax more on this half of the trip, but some adventure highlights included:
• Feeding monkeys at Sangeh Monkey Forest. They climbed all over us and I even saw one crack a peanut on James' head 😆
• Cooling off at the Uma Anyar waterfall
• Brief trip into Ubud city to visit the Water Temple and walk around the art market

We were absolutely spoiled at our first resort Apurva Kempinski on the southern coast of Nusa Dua. The architecture was stunning everywhere, but especially the lobby. Highlights here included swimming in our own lagoon pool outside our room, the incredible buffet breakfasts, the underwater 7-course dining experience at Koral restaurant, a much needed massage after 30 hours of traveling, and watching a lightning storm.
In true Izzy fashion, no trip would be complete without some adventure. Some highlights on this half of the trip were:
• Boat trip and snorkeling with manta rays at Nusa Penida island
• Cliffside views and Kecak dance performance at Uluwatu Temple
• Incredible view from the 23rd floor of the Geruda Wisnu Kencana statue (Indonesia's tallest statue)
