Healing is usually my impetus to write. This song came at a time in my youth of existential dread; a feeling I would continue to feel in waves throughout my life. Again and again and after that, I begin anew.
Paired with an Ayisyen (Haitian) folkloric song called Wangol O!
about protection for migrants and a nation dream to return to a thriving homeland of your own. One without external/internal corruption. A nation dream migrants carry in their hearts like a dream deferred.

Introducing Tati Nuzi and Friends… we are currently on tour in Vienna, VA playing all week for 300+ kids per day at @wolf_trap theater.
