We are more than happy for the nomination. This collaboration between @sarakele_studio and @moawoodman is truly inspiring and we are sure it will bring many more nice moments for ZERØ and the team also.
ZERO is about connection.
Not just connection to nature, but a reminder of the power of human connections. We are a team of carpenters and a furniture designer. We met at a design fair two years ago and quickly decided we want to create something beautiful together. We don't just share the same values of furniture production, but we also connect on a deeper, human level. Working together brings us daily inspiration.

Vom ersten Möbelstück bis zum letzten Detail wächst hier ein Ort, der Design erlebbar macht. In wenigen Stunden öffnen sich die Türen – und Basel wird zum Hotspot für unabhängiges Design. 💖

We love wood. But we also love trees.
So we decided not to cut healthy, beautiful trees for our furniture production. We only use wood that would normally become firewood. Trees that were damaged by storms, or have health problems and have to be cut anyway. We simply give it another life. It’s a small way to stay connected to the material and appreciate where it comes from.
