Save the date for another unforgettable day on the links. Putts for Paws 2026 is happening June 4, 2026 at Wood Wind Golf Club in Westfield, Indiana, and we cannot wait to do it all again.
Putts for Paws is an activity packed, super fun golf outing that brings people together from all across the city to golf, enjoy great food and drinks, connect with other professionals, and raise money to benefit the animals of IndyHumane. It's a full day of fun, networking, and giving back to pets in need across central Indiana.
There are lots of ways to get involved:
• Sponsor the event and showcase your business in a fun, low pressure setting. We have a variety of sponsorship opportunities, including brand new options this year like sponsoring our fan favorite Bloody Mary Bar!
• Sponsor a hole or activity hole and spend the day hanging out with every golfer as they pass through. Activity holes like our famous cannon hole are always a hit!
• Sign up a foursome and grab three other friends for a day of golf, networking, and fundraising for a cause that truly matters!

We had originally planned a post today to celebrate Spike Lee’s one-year anniversary at IndyHumane, but thankfully, we’ve got much better news to share… 🥹❤️
On November 8th, just four days shy of his one-year mark, our boy SPIKE LEE WAS ADOPTED! 🎉
Spike Lee was so, so loved during his time here. He had that quiet, soulful look in his kennel, and once he was out, he was nothing but happy tail wags and gentle energy. We were always a little puzzled about how he kept getting passed up but now, his wait is finally over.
His new pawrent is completely in love, and we’ve already gotten some wonderful updates! For now, Spike’s most important job is to rest, decompress, and embrace full-time couch potato life! It's everything that every long-term shelter pup dreams of. 💤
Every adoption makes our hearts happy, but seeing our long-term residents finally head home is extra special. Now that Spike Lee’s kennel is empty, we get to help another dog find there happily ever after.

She was great in the car and loved meeting new people and sleeping in a comfy dog bed! She’s living at @indyhumane and would LOVE a place of her own to sleep and soak up all the love!

This is Lily she’s a Husky from @indyhumane ! We got to take her for a day out from the shelter today. She was great in the pet store and in the car! We took her on trails and she had the best time! She enjoyed a pup cup and greeted everyone as they came by! We got McDonald’s and enjoyed the quiet park! She is one year old and such a well behaved girl. She would LOVE shelter free life if you’re interested in adopting her go to @indyhumane or their website! She deserves a home as amazing as she is!
