We were honored to have Former Indiana State Senator John Crane speak at a recent Hive meeting! John is a dedicated servant leader with a lifetime of experience in both public service and leadership development. He is the founder of the Sagamore Leadership Initiative, a non-profit whose mission is to equip and position next generation leaders to influence our culture for good, and the creator of JBC Leadership Strategies, LLC, through which he and his team provide leadership equipping and consulting. John spoke candidly on the reality of being a true leader in your community — that leadership isn't a title, it's influence. He challenged our members to think about the impact they're having on those around them and the responsibility that comes with being in a position to lead. His perspective, shaped by years of serving the people of Indiana in the State Senate and building organizations dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders, brought a depth and authenticity to his message that resonated throughout the room.
