So the season opener of the @elkhornantiquefleamarket is in the books. This is just my first stop of the day, but Iāve been doing business with Mark and Becky for nearly 15 years and not a single show goes by without a deal getting done.
Thereās a lot of competition in this business, and no shortage of Chuds, but this show feels like a family reunion. The truth is itās a business of relationships, and Iām happy to have good ones with folks like this.

The fact that this piece of glass was sitting in a barn in Ohio for over 60 years and finding its way to Chicago to be reunited after roughly over 100 years since is was hand painted by an artist is unreal to me!
She now sits tall and proud at Official Cuts Academy for everyone to enjoy! āļø

This is definitely one of the coolest pieces of furniture Iāve ever owned. Loosely modeled after the Empire State building, Itās got a ton of secret compartments and secret latches to open each part of the desk and cabinets. As folk art goes, this thing is in league of its own.
