When I initially wrote my verse to “Vibes on Top” it was through the perspective of how I was able to overcome a difficult hand that was dealt to me in life. By putting the “Vibes on Top” I was able to make my positive perspective and energy the driving force of my life, not the condemning perspective of the Drs and science of the time that said I had a death sentence.
Later on this song took a whole new shape when I decided to include my friends on the song and I thought, “Man, the vibes are just so much better with friends”.
