At ISS we love to read and our school is registered for the PRC. The reading period starts today, Monday 11 May.
Students are encouraged to immerse themselves in reading for pleasure and learning. Use the recording sheet from your class teacher to keep track of how many books you read until 28 August. Students are welcome to purchase an ANZAC Day ribbon to wear and help to carry the ANZAC legacy forward. Two designs are available, the Kangaroo and Kiwi flag bearers or the Rising Sun crest. All proceeds are donated to the RSL- .au/
ANZAC Day, Saturday 25/04/26, is a day of remembrance of the invaluable contribution of all who have served and continue to serve our nation, whether in wars, conflicts, peacekeeping or other operations.
At ISS our ANZAC parades will be on Friday 24/04/26. Students are also able to attend community services on ANZAC day, including at Keating Park, Indooroopilly.
