Lucie’s children are initiated into their family’s peculiar womanhood when they reach 12 years of age, and in a few short months, Maud and Lise are crying the curious tears of blood that denote their magical powers.

A completely biodynamic vineyard of predominantly Cortese Grape run along the lines of Waldorf Emerson’s teachings:
Flowers are allowed to grow between the rows & the cows supply the manure (we met adorable 10day old Amadea who is still finding her legs)
The name of the local bird featured on the bottles from the estate- ‘Saltinpalo’ is found in higher numbers where the air is especially clean.
Jada explained the whole wine making process and that the weird glass thing -Tappocolmatore-on top of the oak barrels was invented by Leonardo Da Vinci to control oxygenation.
To top it all the most incredible food locally sourced from the area.
Kind, informative people - especially the passionate Ali to tell us every detail set in the most exquisite environment…. There are also excellent art installations dotted around the estate.
