“A Brief Orbit” is my first abstract stained glass piece. The idea came to me while listening to music (I’m in my Wassily Kandinsky era 🙂↕️).
It reflects feelings of loss, longing, and idealized futures that never came to fruition. It’s about learning to let go of what can’t be controlled.
I used glow-in-the-dark glass to form stars that move across the panel in a loose path, connected by colorful GeoGlows and lots and lots of solder, with pewter added for an antique look.
The glow-in-the-dark glass was made by Christine (@glow1.glass ). So grateful for her work and for making this project possible :)
TLDR: my first abstract stained glass project with glow-in-the-dark stars ✨
