The PXU-NAEP CAREER EXPO has been an amazing event curated by @indigenousskye and this year Konekted is excited to continue the efforts. If you have a student or relative attending PXU, please encourage them to attend on Thursday, April 16th from 4pm-7pm at The Heard. There will be Indigenous professionals and organizations for your student to connect with, professional clothing for them to choose from, and immersive experiences for students to engage in. It’s such a fun time!! We are still accepting clothing donations, send either of us a DM to schedule a pick-up! Link is in bio to RSVP!

👔✨ 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 ✨👗 We’re calling on our community to show up for the next generation of Indigenous leaders. The Annual PXU-NAEP Career Expo Clothing Drive helps high school students step into their futures with confidence, style, and access to professional opportunities. Having options for professional clothing attire allows students to feel prepared, seen, and empowered when an opportunity comes their way! One of the most loved parts of the Career Expo is when students get to “shop” for their own professional outfits by choosing pieces that reflect their own personal style.  𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝: • Pants & jeans • Blouses • Ties • Blazers & suits • Jackets • Ribbon skirts & ribbon shirts 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧. 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 & 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 🤍 To donate, schedule a meetup or pickup: 📞 Troi Waln — 480-628-0568 📧 [email protected]

Tonight's Matriarch Mixer was a guided journaling event led by our sister, Turquoise. We're grateful to The Churchill for hosting us this evening and for each person that joined us, laughed with us, and trusted themselves to share their thoughts tonight. We also exchanged earrings and enjoyed our time together. Love that we could help Turq's dream come true ❤️

I’m deeply honored to be part of the first Women to KNOW in Arizona ✨ @theknowwomen As an Indigenous woman and entrepreneur, this representation matters as we as Indigenous women are leading, building, and shaping systems in spaces where we haven’t always been seen. What meant the most was standing alongside incredible women doing transformative work across Arizona, and sharing this moment with two of my sisters and fellow Indigenous entrepreneurs, @jilliankris and @melo3134 👏🏽 I feel so proud! I also got to celebrate with my partner, the steady support behind it all. He’s my biggest support and sees the up and downs that have got me here. I love you so much! 💗 My heart is overflowing with gratitude to be able to serve my community in this way and to be a part of something that allows future generations to see what’s possible. #indigenous #indigenouswomen #indigenousentrepreneur #womentoknow #womentoknowaz

✨ 2025 PXU NAEP Career Expo ✨ Another successful event, my heart is full! In partnership with @pxu.naep and @heardmuseum for the second year, we came together, we celebrated identity, and we showed our youth what’s possible. The energy in the space was electric! Seeing our youth show up in their power, connect with Indigenous professionals, and take up space with pride was everything I dreamed of and more. To everyone who spoke, shared space, donated, supported, and showed up with intention—thank you from the bottom of my heart 💗 You helped create a space where Indigenous students were celebrated, seen, and reminded of just how limitless they are. This is what culturally safe career exploration looks like for future generations 💫 #IndigenousExcellence #CulturalSafety #NativeFutures #Indigenous
