Justice for missing and murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Two Spirits and Relatives! 📢  🎞 by oodhamboiii / TikTok 💬 Quote + Slide 5 content via @rosaliefishx A federally mandated report tracking missing and murdered Indigenous people was removed earlier this year, erasing a crucial tool meant to provide data, resources, and accountability for Native communities. Created under the Not Invisible Act, the report helped spotlight a crisis where Indigenous women face murder rates ten times the national average. Take Action: 👉 Call your representative and demand that the “Not One More” report is made available again. 👉 Follow and support organizations working to protect Indigenous communities: @i.queer , @niwrc , @rising_hearts , @sovereignbodies , @strongheartsdv , @mmiwhoismissing , @ndncollective , @ndngirlsbookclub , @wernative , @urbanindigenouscollective 👉 Stay informed. 🤎 The human nervous system evolved within relational limits. Now the average person absorbs: global tragedy, strangers’ inner lives, political outrage, beauty standards, parasocial intimacy. ✍🏾: @healinghokte ✨: @indigenousintentions

Harrison Ford recently emphasized a key principle of environmentalism: Humanity is a part of nature, not above it 🌎🌱 This challenges the idea that we exist separately from the natural world. In reality, ecosystems are built on interconnection, and our survival depends on healthy land, water, and biodiversity 🌊🌿 He also highlighted the importance of uplifting Indigenous communities in environmental work. Indigenous Peoples have long practiced forms of stewardship rooted in reciprocity, sustainability, and responsibility, knowledge systems that are essential to addressing today’s environmental crises 🪶🌍 Protecting the planet is not just about policy. It is about who leads, whose knowledge is valued, and how we choose to live within the systems that sustain us 🌳⚖️ Environmentalism is not control. It is responsibility 🌱✨ #earthdaughters #indigenousscience #nature #environment

✨ I wrote this while watching the latest cult documentaries. The rise of cult dynamics in wellness is not random. It is happening during a time when many people are exhausted, grieving, isolated, spiritually hungry, and disconnected from the older systems of care that once held people through transformation. ✍🏾: @healinghokte 🎨: @indigenousintentions

Europe Exhausted Its Land Then Took Others’ 🌍 Long before colonization, much of Europe had already reshaped its own landscapes. Forests were cleared for agriculture, expanding cities, and shipbuilding. Timber powered empires, and over time, that demand came at a cost as ecosystems were depleted and resources grew scarce. Expansion across oceans was not only about exploration. It was also driven by the need for more Land, more materials, and more wealth. Colonization became a system of extraction, taking from Indigenous territories to sustain growth elsewhere. We cannot ignore that the same systems that led to this scarcity in Europe continue to govern how nature is managed today. Extraction over restoration. Control over relationship. Profit over sustainability. A different future begins when we recognize the roots of the systems we are still living in 🌿 References: Marchand, S. (2016). More on this ceremony…🪶 This moment marks the return of a Blackfeet child. The remains of a young Blackfeet boy were disinterred from the Carlisle Indian Industrial School in Pennsylvania, who had passed away over 100 years ago. In this scene, his remains are formally handed over from the U.S. military to Blackfeet tribal members who volunteered to bring him back. He is being returned to the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana, where he will be laid to rest by his people. This ceremonial process honors the spirit of this young boy as the Blackfeet Tribe brings him home. Our film needs to get back in production by July. We’ve been privately funded up until now, but we need your help to tell this story. Comment “FILM,” and we’ll send you a DM on how you can best support us. Thank you for being here and for following this work. Indigenous Women | Indigenous Stories | Indigenous Boarding Schools #indigenouswomen #indigenous #indigenousrights #indigenouspeople
