Wir haben auf dem Indie Game Fest etwas gemacht, das die Gamesbranche eigentlich öfter braucht: einen Raum, in dem FLINTAs nicht erklären müssen, warum sie da sind.
Michaela Bartelt-Krantz, ehem. Geschäftsführerin EA Deutschland, hat bei unserem Diversity Meetup über Frauen in Führung gesprochen ohne zu beschönigen, was der Weg dorthin kostet. Denn der ist nach wie vor teurer als für andere: Es sind mehr Beweise nötig, weniger Fehler erlaubt, öfter übersehen, seltener gefragt.
Und trotzdem. Die Flinta Community in der Gamesbranche wird größer, lauter, sichtbarer.
Nicht weil die Strukturen sich von alleine ändern – die tun das nämlich nicht – sondern weil immer mehr Menschen wie du in diesem Raum aufgehört haben zu warten, bis sie eingeladen werden. Du darfst Raum einnehmen.
Das Meetup bekommt eine Fortsetzung. Weil es eine braucht. 💜

Solid talks, a charity stream with @lp4charity on @xperion_germany that meant a lot, and more creators on site than ever before - remote included for the first time this year. And our first ever artist alley opened today which still feels surreal 🎨
