Studioartforall, founded by Shraddha Trivedi Gajbar, is an institution dedicated to preserving and promoting India’s rich traditional folk art heritage, connecting students across the globe and fostering a deep appreciation for indigenous practices. I’m delighted to share that I have been appointed to the Board of Studies at DOT School of Design. I was there recently to sign the MoU with the Founder, engage in detailed discussions with Prof. Balaram, Dean, and the faculty, and interact with students across batches. What truly stood out to me was the school’s preparedness for its academic responsibilities and its deeply methodical approach to design education. There is clarity of intent. There is structure. And there is seriousness about building designers, not just graduates. I am particularly inspired by the way the institution is positioning itself within the larger Indian design discourse. Being in Chennai offers students a powerful and grounded Indian design perspective rooted in craft, culture, systems thinking, and contemporary industry relevance. It is a city that quietly holds intellectual depth and design sensitivity. I look forward to contributing meaningfully by bringing industry insight, strategic thinking, and a national and global perspective into academic dialogue. Education and practice must speak to each other continuously. When they do, design becomes transformative. Grateful for the trust. In today’s session, Ashish Dasharathi introduced the concept of “Vibe Coding”, building software through natural language rather than manual syntax.
