this @fastfingers_21 trip was an eye-opening experience and it really solidified that fingerboarding, for me, is not about the products, events, or even the act of fingerboarding, but about the people and experiences made on the journey. I had many great conversations with awesome people who I really feel their love by just being around them and talking to them but especially in the handshakes and hugs they gave. looking back, the best memories were those when I wasn’t even fingerboarding. just hanging out and being in the moment with friends that I met last trip and new friends that I met along the way. shoutout to yonus @vegasfb for going with me to the event! I’m so grateful for all of the people that I met through fingerboarding, and all of the places that it’s taken me around the world. I love and appreciate my family for supporting me on this journey and want to focus on spending more time with them and giving back as they’ve given to me my whole life. I thank God for these experiences as they really grow me as a person and shape me into who I want to be. if you can ever make it to a fingerboard event I suggest you do because its where great memories are made:) #thankyoufingerboarding #fastfingers21 #blackriver
This trip was an incredible experience filled with friendly and welcoming people, lots of nostalgia, and joyous feelings of childhood dreams coming true. Thank you to Pascal @slow__noise for hanging out and the food and outdoor spot recommendations while I was a shop rat for the week. Thank you to Felipe @ceaflip and Jana @jana.klar.fb for including me in your group as we navigated Berlin. It was really awesome hanging out at the Steig and Martins house, meeting so many new people as well as the fingerboard legends I’ve watched since I was a kid. I’m very thankful that I was able to get a ride from Jana from the ASI store to Schwarzenbach for Slowfingers and after the event I was able to get a ride to Munich with Nico @nicofrankfb who’s one of my favorite fingerboarders. I’m so appreciative of them because otherwise it would have been a long train ride alone with suitcases and baggage. Overall it was a wonderful time where I met lots of compassionate people and made lifelong memories:) Thank you to all of the cool people I met for making this trip as amazing as it was. If you can make it to an event I would highly recommend it because meeting these people in person, hanging out and shredding the legendary parks, and even the minor aspects of your daily routine create for an unforgettable experience #thankyoufingerboarding #blackriver #asiberlin #fingerboarding #beastpants
