But imma keep it short, since a lot of the reason of why it’s been this long I already explained in a previous post. If you don’t feel like reading the rest, just know I love all of you. And like garnet said. I made this experience for y’all, and I hope it’s a good experience ❤️ (not the best rewrite but w/e lol) - I have a HUGE respect for anyone who does this style. It’s so time consuming, it took be 2 and a half months to finish these drawings. And editing took me 2 hard weeks. And due to the time spent on this, and since everything I’m the edit I drew/traced. I have a different connection to this edit over all my other edits. So please don’t steal :p. Don’t have too much else to say tho... WAIT... just so y’all know. w/ Hilda, soar! ☀️ - ib: tagged dt: find your name <3 (sry @isma.exe ) - WELL WELL WELL... -1k followers and here we are. So um, there are alot of reasons this happened. But if you don't care, just hope you like the edit! Tried to make the 'best cartoon edit' but there are alot of parts that just dont make the cut tbh. BUT this edit is SUPER reference heavy. So if you've watched the show, you should have SOOOOO much fun :D - ANYWAY back to the Ted talk. Yeah so school kinda killed all inspiration i had to make any form of edit for a solid 7-8 months. I literally sacrificed my happiness for good grades and that was not fun. Definitely will be going for the mental heath route next run ngl. For people that have been here a while, they know i posted the intro for this edit WAAAAY back in june last year. Yes, june 2020. But then school happened... and yeah. Burn-out is a feeling i never want to feel again. But FINALLY in late august this year, after a solid YEAR of burn-out i finally got my will to edit, and smile, back! So in reality, this edit only took about 3 months and close to 200 hours. Not a year lol. I took breaks during the 3 months, but all in all, this was amazing to make. Most of my breaks were do to brainstorming ideas, but also the thought of living up to the expectations that were set. I really felt/feel like people considering me to be one of the best at what I do in this community was alot, and I didn't live up to it. So I wanted this to be THE cartoon edit. Something I could look at and say: 'this is fucking amazing' So that's what i tried to do. And honestly, idk if i did that. IG that's up to you guys. Either way, this is definitely my Magnum Opus. I can almost confirm i will not be posting again this year. I have a very VERY imporant 20 page paper i only have 3 weeks to write from today. So yeaaaaaa.
