Many do not know, but the 🎄's have a pagan origin. Evergreen trees signaled the "return of life" and "light" as the winter solstice meant the days were starting to get longer. They were brought into the house so that the wood spirits would keep us warm during the cold winter. Food + treats were placed on its branches as offerings to the spirits of the forest so that food was not lacking on the table. Bells were hung from the limbs to ring when a grateful spirit was present. At the top of the tree a five pointed star was always placed first, so that the five elements guided our steps.

Below are some magical ideas for what to use to decorate your tree. Don't forget to to clean all the branches with smudge stick, palo santo or cinnamon incense, before decorating!

In honor of Small Business Saturday and since it’s been a while, I thought I would come out and share my journey with you all! I’m Caroline, the one woman show behind INDA.

My pathway to wellness and entrepreneurial journey stemmed from experiencing some really dark days. After the sudden passing of my close personal friend, I was searching for solace and closure. I unexpectedly found both and more and came away with a higher purpose when I retreated to the woods of Vermont for support. Shortly after asking for a sign or message from my lost friend, and stumbled upon a small pendant in the exact image of that very friend’s tattoo, ans wrapped it on the necklace I was wearing. Finding renewed strength and personal healing, thanks to nature as my church ⛪️ , INDA Creations was born. I always hoped that I could use my transformative experience to help others heal.

What started as a crystal jewelry grew into a holistic, plant based line of wellness tools to encourage self care and natural healing, always inspired by mother earth. We’ve stayed true to our values and only work with other small businesses and family run organic farms. Even our pipe necklaces are #madeinUSA handcrafted in VT. Supporting and advocating for small farms and businesses has always been at the cornerstone of my company’s ethos and will continue to drive all of our actions. ⠀
Recently, I’ve created INDA’s sister brand @Rewolfagency to support other intentional, purpose driven brands. The name comes from F-l-o-w-e-r (spelled backwards) and is inspired by the wolf totem...the instincts + intuition. Also a pathfinder, we look to the 🐺 whenever we need assistance in finding our way - which is what we like to do with brands, help guide them in the self discovery process and storytelling journey #RewolftoFlower
