Mike and I have been on a two day antiquing trip. The car was already packed to the gills. However, when one finds an unexpected pleasure, one has to indulge. My treasures from Vunja are abundant and are making me giddier than anyone probably should be. I cannot wait to begin the costumes for Sankova and Black Nativity. Vunja also gifted me a number of pieces that are only supposed to be for me as well. Who am I to argue :)

**I may be equally smitten by things that light up.....the tote of components, power supplies, and relays most assuredly thumbs up this one. If not, the fixtures for pretty sweet set pieces are more than a hint of things to come.
***I left Akron firmly committed to the fact that we owned several full sets of organs and limbs of all genders as well as a tub of faces. We did not need any body parts. I said it 5 times..........I am bringing home several (yes, as in more than one) decapitated heads and ice covered frozen faces.......

******There are never enough movie quality foam weapons of convenience in our stock. Sure, we already had knives, clubs, axes, bats, pans, concrete blocks, tools of all kinds,pipes, etc. Now we have shovels, pic axes, bigger sledge hammers, light up ankle monitors ( not foam, but hey), additional bats to handle all eras, and at least 5 things I'm forgetting.
I am unapologetic and there is no 12 step program. Until next year St Louis.

Bonus shenanigans on my very foggy, monsoon-y drive yesterday....murder road! Yes, against the best wishes of gps, I found a rusty carcass covered one lane road (traveled two ways as I soon found myself head to head with post apocalyptic truck) and explored a little off the beaten path foray. Adventure!
These are normally my midnight driving sojourns, so lovely to traverse by daylight.
Jackie spent some time in the shop today beginning to organize internal organs and limbs more appropriately.
I began a conversation regarding catagories. One does not get between a girl and her liver and lungs though.
Hmmm.....earlier my car very kindly asked about giving me a break.
Now that I have the vintage camcorder parts (mission accomplished with a clandestine meeting at a closed Arby's parking lot) it's asking again. Luckily, it has guided me to the trifecta of: antique mall, African import store, and leather supply shop.
Sure Cincinnati, I can stretch my legs for a minute.....
