HOT HONEY JAPANESE-STYLE EGG SANDO 🥚🍯🥪 ​ Not your average egg sandwich! sweet. spicy. creamy. soft. it just hits.​ ​3 eggs (I used 2 white & 1 brown) ​ ¼ tsp. kosher salt ⅛ tsp. freshly ground black pepper​ ⅛ tsp. Sugar​ ½ tsp. rice vinegar ​ 1 tsp. heavy cream ​ 1 tsp. hot honey ​ 2 tbsp. Japanese kewpie mayo ​ Salted butter ​ Japanese milk bread ​ 1. place eggs and water in a pot, and bring to a boil. cover with a lid and let cook for 1 minute. turn off flame and then let them sit in the pot for 12 mins (*to ensure food safety, always cook egg dishes to 160⁰F) ​ 2. remove eggs and put them into an ice bath until completely cooled. remove shells ​ 3. mash eggs in a bowl, then fold in salt, pepper, and sugar ​ 4. then mix in heavy cream, hot honey, and rice vinegar. once combined, fold in Japanese mayo ​ 5. butter each slice of bread, then add a spoonful of egg salad to the sandwich and cut off the crust ​ In partnership with @leighannk_
