Today’s sneak peak! The last track on the album is ‘59 Old Compton Street’. With a cheeky nod to John Barry’s ‘Beat Girl’ the track pays tribute to where Rock n’ Roll began in Britain. The 2i’s Coffee Bar in London’s Soho. Many British acts got their start here, including the masters of twang The Shadows.
Another sneak preview! Track 2 on side B is “Eliminate Agent Palmer!” - a homage to 60s spy masterpiece ‘The Ipcress File’ starring Michael Caine with music by John Barry. Album drops Fri Nov 26 on 10” vinyl, CD & digital.
